Reminisce.

If I'm not wrong, people say that "The eyes are the windows of the soul" or something along that line. Now, I'd like to make up a new phrase, and that is "Music is the heart of the soul".

I was listening to some songs that I loved listening to last time, and they really brought back a lot of memories -- all the way back from times like:

1. My tongue being pulled by this teacher (Mr. Teo) who is very nice, and hilarious. I kinda miss him (I'm not gay, just that he's a really nice teacher!) and am wondering how he's doing and what school he's teaching at.

2. Sleeping and listening to music (with my discman) in class when I was in upper primary.

3. Play cards after exams, and going to Comics Connection to look buy cards (which is kinda rare in TK now).

4. Going to my best friend's house to play computer (Maple and Gunbound), who also enjoyed listening to the same songs as I did. Haha!

5. And... having a long-term crush for this girl (Lol!).

Those were the days when I really had great fun in school (unlike now). Unfortunately, there are no pictures I can post up.

And of course, the memories that have been kept in me ever since I was Secondary One all the way till now.

I really want those times, back. ):

Valentine's Day by Linkin Park
My insides all turned to ash, so slow
And blew away as I collapsed, so cold
A black wind took them away, from sight
And now the darkness over day, that night

And the clouds above move closer
Looking so dissatisfied
But the heartless wind kept blowing, blowing
I used to be my own protection, but not now
Cause my path has lost direction, somehow
A black wind took you away, from sight
And now the darkness over day, that night

And the clouds above move closer
Looking so dissatisfied
And the ground below grew colder
As they put you down inside
But the heartless wind kept blowing, blowing

So now you're gone, and I was wrong
I never knew what it was like, to be alone

On a Valentine's Day, on a Valentine's Day
On a Valentine's Day, on a Valentine's Day

On a Valentine's Day, on a Valentine's Day
(I used to be my own protection, but not now)

On a Valentine's Day, on a Valentine's Day
(Cause my mind has lost direction, somehow)

On a Valentine's Day, on a Valentine's Day
(I used to be my own protection, but not now)

On a Valentine's Day, on a Valentine's Day
(Cause my mind has lost direction, somehow)

Two: Relaxed-man

I've always loved watching Ironman when I was young, and I still remember the other Ironman of which I can't remember the colour already. Anyway, I'm kind of excited to see the CG version of Ironman, compared to the cartoon ones I saw when I was a lot younger!

If I'm not wrong, hopefully, it'll be out by the end of this year. Hopefully.

Oh yes! Chinese O'Levels is over, though we can't definitely say it is over yet, 'cause whether it's over or not, depends on the results that will be released around August, I suppose.

I'll just hope that I'll get the result that I (or maybe all of us) want.

Oh well, truncated lessons are starting tomorrow, and let's pray hard that I'll not fall asleep during lessons! I know I'm not the only person, but I was commented by one of the teachers that I always fall asleep in class.

Gosh, you know how hard it is to fight against fatigue. I know teachers will always say: "Sleep early then!", "Take the initiative to excuse yourself to the toilet to freshen up yourself", "If you think you are tired, we teachers are tired too. But if we can tahan, so can you!"

Or even any other reasons along that line.

Anyhow, gotta sleep earlier today.

Ciao! (:

Sail away, it's time to leave.
Rainy days, are yours to keep.
Fade away, the night is calling my name.
You will stay, I'll sail away.

One: Starting Afresh.

Hello. (:

So let me start afresh by changing my blog (after deleting and decided to remake one again), though I won't be changing the blog URL 'cause it's such a hassle going around tagging everyone's blog to relink me. First and foremost, I'll be wasting a lot of time diverting to tonnes of blogs, and secondly, my computer is really an old and slow bitch (I don't know the gender of my computer though).

Since it's my blog, I'll consider being more open and straightforward in here. Of course, there are things that I will try not to mention here, which might in turn offend some people.

A new blog, a new start. I'll continue editing my blog layout 'cause I think it kinda sucks.

Anyway, moving on, I was surfing some forum (I'm not going to reveal the forum 'cause I'm a member and I don't think it's really right for me since permission is not given). But nevertheless, I'll still put up something that I had found interesting, and does make sense even if it doesn't seem to make sense. Some people might have seen it, of which I don't know who, but come what may, here it goes (kinda long, but please read on):

Now you know why foreign people find life in America so confusing!

We take English for granted, but if we explore its paradoxes, we find that...

There is no egg in eggplant nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple.

English muffins were not invented in England or French fries in France.

Sweetmeats are candies, while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat.

Quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square, and a guinea pig is
neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.

And why is it that writers write, but fingers don't fing. Grocers don't groce, and hammers don't ham?

If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of booth beeth?

One goose, 2 geese. So, one moose, 2 meese? One index, two indices? Is cheese the plural of choose?

If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught?

If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?

In what language do people recite at a play, and play at a recital?

Ship by truck, and send cargo by ship?

Have noses that run and feet that smell?

Park on driveways and drive on parkways?

How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites?

How can the weather be hot as hell one day and cold as hell another?

When a house burns up, it burns down.

You fill in a form by filling it out,and an alarm clock goes off by going on.

When the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible.

And why, when I wind up my watch, I start it, but when I wind up this essay, I end it?

All the best, peeps. (:
